You can join the VEPTSA fundraising team, submit BoxTops receipts, give in-kind donations to Orcas Care Closet, and give financial donations to the general fund!

Donate to VEPTSA General Fund

Financial gifts to Viewlands Elementary PTSA help build a stronger school community by enabling us to support teachers and students.

Giving to the 2023-2024 general fund allows VEPTSA to allocate donations where most needed. Feel free to share with extended family and neighbors, too.

Viewlands Elementary PTSA is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your donation is tax deductible as allowed by law.

Orcas Care Closet

VEPTSA helps support the Orcas Care Closet at Viewlands: A community closet that provides essential items for Viewlands students.

Please refer to the list of items here for what’s needed:

• Warm coats (Kid size L and XL)
• Gently Used Youth Slip-On Closed Toe Shoes, Rain Boots, or Tennis Shoes (any sizes)
• Pants, especially pull-on sweat pant styles (Kid size small, medium and large)
• T-Shirts, both long and short sleeve sytles (Kid size small, medium and large)
• Underwear (Kid size small, medium and large)
• Clothes can be new or gently used (no holes or significant stains, please), and neutral colors are best if possible
• Sleeping bags (gently used is accepted)
• New hygeine items: Travel-sized shampoo / conditioner / toothpaste / lotion, floss, deoderant, hair scrunchies, hair brushes, chapstick, vaseline, lice treatment
• New household items: dish soap, laundry detergent
• Non-perishable foods: protein bars, beef jerky, peanut butter etc.

Drop off Orcas Care Closet donations to school:

• Your student can bring donations to their teacher, marked for the school nurse.
• You can bring donations to the school office, marked for the school nurse.

Box Tops for Education

We participate in the national Box Tops for Education program. If you see this label on any products you have at home (eg, cereal, snacks, and other grocery products), you can help our PTSA raise money towards supplies and other upgrades! Download the BoxTops mobile app, select Viewlands Elementary School, and then take pictures of your receipts to earn money for VEPTSA.

To date, BoxTops has donated over $4,500 to VEPTSA!

Fred Meyer Community Rewards

Do you have a Fred Meyer Shopper’s Card? You can select a local organization for the store to donate to and (good news) Viewlands Elementary PTSA is one of those organizations! You will need to create an online account first, then follow the steps to select Viewlands PTSA (organization number KS805) as your charity of choice for the store to donate to. Fundraising

VEPTSA sponsors several fundraisers during the school year to help support some of the great programs and activities at Viewlands, including: Music with Mary K, after school activities, 5th grade camp, teacher grants, enrichment scholarships, playground supervision, parent education and more! Membership dues alone can’t cover it all, your support in our various fundraisers is greatly appreciated.
