“The Kindness Pillow”

Mrs. Meagher’s Class | 3rd Grade

“Be Kind, Rewind”

Mrs. Shilke & Mr. Arango’s 4th Graders

“Ice Cream Machine: The Movie”

Mr. Thorpe’s 4th Graders

Students worked in teams of two to draw their interpretations of each of the 6 stories in the book they read by Adam Rubin and then cast themselves in an imagined movie version of the stories.

“School for Invisible Boys: The Movie“

Mr. Thorpe’s 4th Graders

Inspired by the book they read by Shaun David Hutchinson, students drew their interpretations of the monsters beneath St. Lawrence’s Catholic School for Boys and then cast themselves in an imagined movie version of the strory.

“World of Peace”

Ms. Norma’s Class | 2nd Grade

The children explored watercolor techniques, each choosing their own colors and using the wet-on-wet method to create beautiful, blended designs. After painting, each child traced and cut out their hand shape. The hands were then assembled around a class-created poem about building a world of peace, showcasing both their creative skills and their shared message of hope.
