Viewlands Yearbooks feature class pictures, candid pictures, and every cover art submission. There’s also a page for student signatures that’s become a wonderful end of year tradition. You don’t want to miss out!

Yearbook Cover Art Contest

It’s time for the 2024-2025 Yearbook cover art contest! All students are encouraged (but not required) to submit artwork to be considered for this year’s yearbook cover!

Submission Guidelines

Your cover art needs to incorporate our school or our Orca mascot. Our school colors are blue and green.
Finished size 8.5″ x 11,″ vertically oriented (to hang up and down)
Your art should be colorful.
You may use any medium you can think of: markers, crayons, colored pencils, paint or cut paper mosaic.
Your artwork does not need a title.
If you are doing lettering on your entry, make sure all words are spelled correctly and easy to read.
All artwork must be done by a student of Viewlands Elementary.
Remember to write your name and your teacher’s name in pencil on the back of your artwork submission.

Submission Deadline & Results

Return all artwork to the front office by: Thursday February 27th, 2025

Results: Winner & Runners Up To be decided in early March

The winner will have their artwork appear on the cover of the 2024-2025 yearbook and receive a FREE copy of the yearbook! All submitted entries will also be proudly featured throughout the pages of this year’s yearbook.
